Contacted by celebrity gardener Diarmuid Gavin, famous for creating influential, contemporary and unique gardens. Connect were asked to design and build a scaffold with a difference for one of Diarmuid’s show gardens at Chelsea Flower Show. The Connect Team were able to bring his vision to life creating the seven-storey pyramid shaped garden, built in tube and fitting, standing 80 feet tall it was Chelsea’s highest Show garden yet.

A GEDA Hoist positioned centrally in the structure took you to the top, throughout all seven levels the scaffolding was filled with plants including 30ft high bamboo, a vegetable garden, greenhouse and an outdoor shower at the top which watered the garden below.

Seven months in design and planning culminated in a five-day construction programme to complete in time for the show opening.
